Julia Micheline Studios & ALO

During my internship with professional freelance retoucher Julia Micheline, I had the exciting opportunity to contribute to projects for major brands like ALO. Under Julia’s guidance, I was responsible for precise color correction to ensure the final images matched the brand’s exacting standards.

Using Adobe Photoshop, I worked with a combination of work paths, layer masks, and targeted adjustment layers to fine-tune tones and hues to align with provided color swatches. I maintained non-destructive workflows to preserve image quality and maximize flexibility for revisions. This included isolating garments or skin tones using refined selections, applying Curves and Hue/Saturation adjustments, and using layer masks to blend changes seamlessly into the original image.
